ABOLG Pilotage and Marine Services is a newly established provider of ship inspection and survey services in Australia.
Our range of services includes — but is not limited to — safety inspections, pre-purchase and pre-sale inspections, and on-hire/off-hire bunker and condition surveys.

All inspections are conducted in full compliance with the current requirements of the Tokyo MOU guidelines and in line with the latest Port State Control regime as implemented by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA).

Our main goal is to assist shipowners and ship operators in promoting maritime safety, protecting the marine environment, and safeguarding the working and living conditions on board ships trading in Australian territorial waters.

With my background as an experienced Master Mariner, having sailed worldwide on oil and chemical tankers, and as a former Port Marine Surveyor with AMSA, I bring extensive expertise in the practical application of international maritime legislation, the Australian Navigation Act, and Marine Orders requirements across various vessel types. Additionally, I have significant experience conducting Port State Control inspections and safety compliance audits to ensure vessels meet the highest standards.
