ABOUT ME:

Experienced Master Mariner with over 18 years of total sea time on oil and chemical tankers worldwide. Proven expertise in large vessel handling, with extensive experience in over 20 Ship-to-Ship operations at various locations, as well as numerous transits through the Panama Canal, Kiel Canal, Suez Canal, Mississippi River and other challenging waterways.

Previously served as a Port Marine Surveyor with the Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA), gaining strong expertise in conducting marine surveys, Port State Control inspections, and MLC investigations on foreign-flagged vessels, as well as inspections and incident investigations of domestic commercial vessels to verify compliance with maritime safety, environmental protection, and relevant legislation.

Highly knowledgeable in the application of international regulations, codes, and standards governing the safe handling, stowage, securing, and transport of cargoes.
